Vass Real Estate
With a population of only about 800, Vass is one of the most rural towns in Moore County. Even so, this community features a number of equestrian farms and wooded areas. Vass is also home to Woodlake Country Club, a gated, lakefront golf community featuring three championship golf courses.
Vass was once a bustling center for industry and commerce--known as one of the heaviest shipping areas for lumber, cotton products, and agricultural produce on the Raleigh and Augusta Railroad. Vass also had strong tar and brick industries, and served as the launching pad for two newspapers, The Pilot and The Sandhills Citizen.
